Steve and Kim Goddard

(Casey and Camden)

Steve and Kim have worked among the 15,000 or so Kurds in Nashville from Iraq, Iran, Turkey and Syria for the last two decades. And now, after years of varied approaches, Steve is transitioning into a more intentional evangelistic and discipleship role among Iranian Kurds. They represent the second largest subgroup of Kurds in the city.

SERVING WITH Servant Group International IN Nashville

  • They helped launch a Facebook Live show, Fe-allah, in January 2017 as an outreach to the Nashville Kurdish community and beyond. Ever since, the message of Jesus is shared by a local believer in Kurdish and English every Tuesday evening. Pray for his protection and encouragement. Everyone is invited to tune in at 6:45pm.
  • As a result of believers gathering at their home, a Kurdish church has been born. Pray for the hand of God to be on this new fellowship in a strong way, leading to spiritual and numerical growth.
  • In order to serve Iranian Kurds, Steve will need to improve his Kurdish language skills and attain, at least, a conversational level of Farsi. Pray for disciplined study time and supernatural learning as he attempts both.
