Darren serves as a PE Teacher and Athletic Director at Morrison Academy in Taipei, Taiwan alongside his wife, Dana and their two youngest children, McCayde and McLayne. Their older two children, McKenna and McGwire, are both married and living with their spouses in Springfield, TN and Boone NC respectively.
Morrison Academy has been serving the international community in Taiwan since 1961 by providing a Christian education to children of missionaries and international families. One of the leading causes for missionaries to leave their field of service is the lack of good educational options for their children. On an island where less than 2% of the population is evangelical, Morrison Academy enables longevity for missionary families, and this directly impacts their mission’s efficiency in sharing the gospel. In addition, the school is openly evangelical, with more than 70% of the school being international students from belief systems other than evangelical Christians. Their personal ministry focus is to build relationships with students and their families to share the love of Christ.
