These are the numbers of Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes collected at TDF over the past five years. They represent more than just shoeboxes, they represent the number of children whose lives have been impacted with the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Nearly 3,000 boys and girls have received shoebox-filled gifts from the generous individuals and families who attend TDF since we began collecting them over 10 years ago.

November 13-20 is national collection week for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. We will have displays set up in the upstairs lobby (near the TDF café) and in Adventureland with pre-printed OCC shoeboxes, instructional brochures, coloring pages, and stickers. You can also use your own shoeboxes, but please nothing larger than a men’s size 12-13. PLEASE NOTE: This year OCC cannot accept candy of any kind or toothpaste tubes of any size. This is a new customs regulation for 2017. Also, the shipping cost per box is now $9.00. If you have any questions about how to pack a box, get a brochure from the display or contact Teresa Christian at 615-512-3520 via call or text.

TDF’s final collection day will be Sunday morning, November 19th. We are so excited about how God is going to use our gifts to reach even more children with the truth of Jesus Christ, bringing them hope and happiness, and leading them toward freedom, purpose, and fulfillment!
